Funeral Card Friday

I recently re-found my Mom's Funeral card.  I had two copies of it.  One of them I carried in my wallet for many years as evident by the ragged edges.  I made this page for my Family History Scrapbook.

Funeral Card Friday: Edith Hartmann

While looking through a folder of old photos I found my mother's funeral card. It was really a surprise to me to find this card. Of course after I found the card I thought "I remember that."   

I also found a second copy of the funeral card from my mom Annette.  I previously posted about her funeral card here.  I am now going to place both of these cards in the memory books I am making for my mother's.

When I have seen the post about Funeral Cards, I think, "oh I wish I had some".  Well on Sunday while looking for the newspaper clippings about "me",  I found this one funeral card. 

This was for my Mom, (second Mom) Annette.  She died when I was a senior in High School from Metastatic Colon Cancer.  She fought a good fight.  It is hard at any age but as a teenager it is even harder.  Finding this card brought back memories. 

I am glad I have it and have placed it in a safer place, so it can be found with my other Genealogy Material.

One small step for me and my family.
